I grew up in a small town in southern West Virginia called Welch. My love for writing and fantasy was developed at an early age and I contribute most of my growth as an author to games and movies. I attended Bluefield State College but my desire to write didn't come until a later age.

For years, I wrote short stories and novellas; refusing to send any of them out to be viewed by those in the publishing world. After generating local interest in an early manuscript of Hope's Covenant, I finally decided it was worth a try. Just as most authors experienced it, rejection came often and left discouragement in its wake.

I was so passionate about my story that I refused to settle for changes. Just when a publisher was ready to accept it, the demands for alterations began. Kill this character, or remove this scene, they asked. Finally, I found luck with Authorhouse, a publisher who wanted my story unchanged, unaltered and true to my original vision. I’m proud to say that my fans agree.

I’ve just completed work on War of the Vampire, the final story of the ‘Covenant’ trilogy and I hope it’ll be in stores soon. Next, I’ll be starting a story that revolves around Kersey, the Overlords, and the first vampires to walk Mystyria. Naturally, this tale will be titled, ‘Birth of the Vampire’ and should be released in Spring of 2009. Thank you all so much for checking out my work and I hope to see you at a signing in the future!
